Local Award-Winning Chef Opens One-of-a-Kind Tasting Bar in Winter Park

Orlando, Fla., (February 23, 2011)— Award-winning executive chef Jamie McFadden of Cuisiniers, who is recognized for his fresh and inspiring approach to catering, has thrown his hat into the hot new gastro bar scene, alongside Chef Harold Henderson with the opening of BAR J ME.  With its first dinner open to the public on March 15th, BAR J ME, located inside Cuisiniers at 5470 Lake Howell Road in Winter Park, will provide an intimate and unique 10-seat interactive counter cuisine experience.

Guests looking for something different will enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining scene where the Cuisinier’s culinary team will be creating a new and inspiring multi-course menu at each and every seating.  Yet another unique spin to BAR J ME will be the availability of this gastronomic setting—which will only be open select evenings each month.

“After enjoying a spectacularly original gastro bar dining experience in New York City a few years ago, I was inspired and propelled to create BAR J ME,” explains McFadden.  “A personal, interactive dinner experience for true epicureans that will take your palate on a multi-course culinary tour of breakfast, lunch and dinner—all at once.”

Breakfast and lunch inspired creations will run the gamut from Lake Meadow Naturals “Huevos Rancheros” to Waterkist Farms “Bloody Mary’s” and “BLT’s”, while dinner-type items will include unique interpretations of culinary classics such as shrimp and grits and Texas BBQ boneless short ribs.

This fixed price menu will be available on select evenings for $75 per person, which includes an 8-course tasting menu and service.  Prepaid reservations beginning at 7:15pm are required for this gastronomic experience and are available for party sizes of 1-10 guests.  Bar J Me is currently accepting reservations for Tuesday March 15th and Wednesday March 16th, 2011.  Please call 407.975.8763 for seating availability and register at jamiemcfadden.com to be informed on a monthly basis of future dinner dates.
